Futurama is bringing back key characters for the show’s 11th season as the release date for the next episode of the Hulu series is announced
A new preview of the returning Futurama anime series has been released ahead of the show’s 11th season return to Hulu this summer, following the series’ revival announcement last year.
The show, originally created in 1999 by Simpsons creator Matt Groening, centers on pizza delivery boy Philip J. Fry (voiced by Billy West).
Fry is accidentally frozen, only to unfreeze 1,000 years later, where he begins working at a company run by an older relative in freight delivery.
The show ended in 2013 after 140 episodes divided into 10 seasons.
The 17-second preview, released on Friday, shows a series of character clips from the series as the series is set to return to the air in July.

The montage ends with the reveal that the series’ initial episode will begin on July 24, with new episodes coming every Monday.
Since the show debuted 10 years ago, the show’s three main voices — West, DiMaggio and Sagal — have been busy with other projects.
West, whose credits include The Howard Stern Show, The Ren & Stimpy Show and the 1996 film Space Jam, has also been featured on Netflix’s Disenchantment and Disney’s Big City Greens in recent years.
Sagal, best known for playing Peggy Bundy in the comedy Married… with Children, has had a number of roles in live-action projects including The Conners, Torn Hearts, Rebel and Dead to Me.
In recent years, DiMaggio has lent his talents to projects such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Perry Mason and Interview with the Vampire.
Other notable returning cast members for the revived series include Tress MacNeille, Phil LaMarr, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom and David Herman, with a number of celebrity cameos also expected.
