The View co-host Ana Navarro drew the ire of Trump supporters after sharing a nude photo of Melania Trump on Instagram while expressing her fury at trying to defend Vice President Kamala Harris’ dating history.
Navarro, 52, has described her political stance as “centrist” in the past and has been an outspoken critic of former President Trump and his administration.
But the Nicaraguan-born Republican strategist appears to be a full-fledged Democrat judging by recent social media posts in which she has come to the defense of Harris, who has been the target of racist and misogynistic attacks since announcing her candidacy.
Some of the attacks against Harris include calling her a “Jezebel” and also insulting her for not having biological children.

Navarro shared a nude photo of Melania Trump on Instagram while defending Kamala Harris
Navarro posted an angry response following attacks on Harris over the past week.
The attacks have largely focused on Harris’s alleged dating history, which seemed to resonate with Navarro and prompted her to come forward with a heated response.
“Some Republicans are on TV and social media making vile sexual comments about Kamala Harris and wanting to make her dating history into an issue. This country deserves a debate about real issues that affect us all. But they want to make this an issue? Let them!” Navarro said.
Navarro added the nude photo of Melania Trump, which shows the former first lady lying on a fur rug with diamond jewelry and handcuffed to a briefcase. The photo was taken in January 2000 as part of a GQ photo shoot.
A second photograph was also included, featuring an image of the Trumps at a party with known sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“I’ve never seen naked pictures of Kamala Harris or her husband. Kamala has never partied with sexual predators,” Navarro continued. “You want to do something low? This time I’m not going to leave anything unanswered. Not one thing. I’ll gladly go 20,000 leagues under the sea.”
A second photograph was also included, showing an image of the Trumps at a party in February 2000 with known sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Some of Harris’s attackers have mentioned her past relationships with talk show host Montell Williams and former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.
In one attack, far-right political activist Laura Loomer accused Harris, 59, of previously being a sex worker for “rich, successful black men,” alleging she performed sexual favors in exchange for power.
Many Trump supporters were unhappy with Navarro’s outburst and the image used to launch his attack.
“YOU SHOULD BE FIRED from this show!!! How dare you post something like that about someone who said or did nothing!!! Go after those who are campaigning but NOT HER!!! How dare you!!! This is why this show sucks,” one commenter wrote.
“Women putting other women down is a form of self-hatred. There is no reason, other than jealousy and hatred, for another woman to open her mouth to put another woman down,” added another.
Some of Harris’s attackers have mentioned her past relationships, including one with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown in the 1990s.

“Can we please stop attacking other women for once? Thank goodness Kamala has an impressive track record as a prosecutor in California! Mrs. Trump was a model in her early years and I’m sure she took a few worse photos than this, but can we please stop attacking these two ladies?” a third pleaded.
Harris has been the subject of numerous attacks in recent days. In another resurfaced video, this time from 2021, Trump’s vice presidential nominee JD Vance criticizes Harris by saying that those who have not procreated, particularly “childless cat ladies,” are “miserable” and have “no direct interest” in the country.
Harris’ supporters were quick to point out that no American president has ever physically given birth, as they have all been men. A handful of them have also not fathered children.
Chief among them was George Washington, the first president of the United States, who, like Harris, helped raise his wife’s children from a previous marriage.
Navarro met Harris in person on Friday. “I had the opportunity to tell her in person that I support her 100%. Join me. Let’s do this!” she wrote on Instagram.
In another post, he praised President Joe Biden for his service to the country.
Navarro, 52, has described her political position as “centrist” in the past and has been a vocal critic of former President Trump and his administration.
Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Republican Sen. John McCain, warned that Vance’s comments “are triggering women of all parties, including my most conservative friends who support Trump.”
Harris has two stepchildren, Cole and Ella, through her husband Doug Emhoff and his first wife.
Her mother, Kerstin Emhoff, said in a statement to CNN that the attacks on Harris were “baseless.”
“For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has co-parented with Doug and I,” she said.
‘I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it.’
Meanwhile, Ella, 25, who refers to Harris as “Momala”, wrote on Instagram that she “loves all three of my parents.”
“How can you not have kids when you have such adorable kids like Cole and I?”
