NFL fans took to social media to criticize NBC for skipping Lindsey Stirling’s halftime show for the Thanksgiving game between the Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers.

Those inside Lambeau Field praised the violinist’s performance, but for the millions watching at home after enjoying their Thanksgiving dinners, it was a disappointment.

“NBC, shame on you for not showing Lindsey Stirling’s performance during halftime,” one fan wrote on X. “That was the only reason I watched it tonight!” How disappointing!’

Another wrote: ‘NBC are you kidding me? Do you show 3 seconds of Lindsey Stirling’s halftime show? The other two games showed everything. What a fucking joke you are!!!’

Another angry TV viewer tweeted at NBC: “What a complete joke your network is for not showing Lindsey Stirling’s performance.”

“Whoever is running things at NBC needs to be fired.”

Stirling had tweeted excitedly about his performance today, saying: ‘Go Packers! Tonight I will be performing my first NFL halftime show! What a way to spend Thanksgiving!!

‘You can catch me during the halftime show of the Packers and Miami Dolphins game tonight! The game begins at 8:20 pm ET.

In previous NFL games, Lainey WIlson performed a halftime show when the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants.

The Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions game had Shaboozey playing. Both artists had their shows broadcast live on television earlier in the day.
