Piers Morgan has criticized Tottenham fans and their players as a “pathetic bunch of losers” after Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City on Tuesday night.
Morgan, a well-known Arsenal fan, had urged his team’s bitter rivals Tottenham to beat Man City and help the Gunners win their first Premier League title in 20 years before the match.
The journalist had reacted to the Tottenham team news on X (formerly Twitter) by writing a message of encouragement to Arsenal’s north London rivals, which read: “Brilliant team.” Eleven winners and born warriors.
