After her nine-year old son, who is ‘gorgeous’, suffered a medical episode while bathing, a distraught mother is living through the ‘every parent’s worst nightmare.
Ambulance crews rushed to an east Adelaide home in Banksia Park on Monday night after Archer, nine, was found unresponsive in the bath after a suspected drowning.
Hayley Madigan, a friend of his mother’s heartbroken father, started a charitable organization. GoFundMe Thursday, to support Archer and Harrison’s older brother, Harrison, who is 12 years old, in their grief.

‘As you can imagine this is any parent’s worst nightmare,’ family friend Keely Lyons wrote.
“A parent cannot plan for the death of a child. I can’t even imagine the pain she is going through.
‘I ask for donations to support this loving mother with funeral expenses, bathroom renovations and expenses over the next few month.
“I don’t want them to have any other concerns than healing at this point.”
Ms Lyons stated that little Archer was a beautiful boy and that his tragic death will have a lasting impact on his family.
After the drowning of a nine year-old in the Waikerie Swimming pool on Saturday, Archer’s is now the second child to drown in Adelaide.
