The Paris 2024 Olympics are over, but celebrities’ outfits will undoubtedly serve as style inspiration for the public for some time to come.
A host of public figures from around the world travelled to the City of Love over the summer to watch the games.
And in true celebrity style, they arrived in their gala attire, with A-list celebrities showing off their style credentials while supporting their country.
Public figures mixed patriotism with their authentic style, from Snoop Dogg’s Americana-themed tracksuit paired with a Kangol flat cap to Princess Anne’s signature sunglasses and £23 Team GB bucket hat.
Here, FEMAIL explores celebrity style highlights from the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In addition to the sporting action, the Paris Olympics were packed with inspiring fashion looks from public figures including Princess Anne (pictured).
When we think of a royal fashion icon, Princess Anne might not immediately spring to mind.
However, this year Anne’s timeless fashion choices have received praise from the public and fashion designers alike.
Earlier this year, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the matriarch at the helm of revered Italian fashion house Fendi, praised Princess Anne for her elegant looks.
At Fendi’s autumn/winter 2024 men’s show in Milan in January, models stormed the catwalk in waxed jackets, wellington boots and loads of plaid in a love letter to the country aesthetic Anne has spearheaded since the 1970s.
Fast forward to the Paris Olympics and the Princess Royal continued to cement her status as a fashion inspiration with her down-to-earth style choices.
On day five of the sporting competition, he sported a white and blue Adidas bucket hat which can be bought in physical stores including JD Sports for £23.
As she attended the medal ceremony for the women’s quadruple sculls rowing event, Anne delighted royal fans by sporting her signature Adidas sunglasses.
Becoming a fashion favourite for Gen Z, these sunglasses have been a part of Anne’s wardrobe since 2008, making them a timeless staple in the Princess Royal’s wardrobe.
Kendall Jenner opted for a motorsports-inspired jacket by Ralph Lauren and matching cap at the games.
Snoop Dogg, 52, kept up his patriotic gear for the 2024 Paris Olympics, wearing mostly red, white and blue for Team USA.
Lady Gaga kept her poker face at the Paris La Defense Arena with the help of her Versace sunglasses
It was a pair of sunglasses that also helped Bad Romance singer Lady Gaga stand out from the crowd.
The 38-year-old singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, kept a poker face with the help of her Versace Horizon reflective shield-frame sunglasses.
She added a bold red clip and pulled her blonde hair back from a middle part into a low ponytail as she cheered on Nic Fink, who won silver in the men’s 100m breaststroke.
Elsewhere, Kendall Jenner affirmed her loyalty to Team USA through her fashion choices, with the 28-year-old model wearing an American-inspired outfit for the games.
Kendall wore a Ralph Lauren racing jacket with the word ‘USA’ printed on the front and a matching cap.
She paired the pieces with a pair of classic high-waisted blue jeans and a white baby tee, creating a classic yet relaxed outfit.
Kendall’s enthusiasm for the games runs in her family: Her father, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, won gold in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, sported sunglasses in the shape of the Olympic rings.
Kendall donned a classic white cropped T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans for the finals of the women’s all-around artistic gymnastics competition.
Snoop Dogg, who quickly established himself as the face of the Paris 2024 Olympics, followed in Kendall’s footsteps with a series of patriotic outfits.
From carrying the Olympic flame through the streets of the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis to swimming, very badly, in a pool with former champion Michael Phelps, Snoop, 52, has been unavoidable.
The American even contributed to a video posted on social media on Sunday in which the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with several celebrities connected to the sport, praised the Great Britain team.
“Thank you, Britain, on behalf of the great Snoop Dogg, the Prince and his lovely wife,” said the man who has previously admitted to being a fan of Norwich City football club and Coronation Street.
Snoop has become such a ubiquitous entertainer at the Paris Games that one critic enthusiastically described him as the “Santa of the Olympics,” an adorable unofficial mascot who brings joy and comedy to a sporting competition not exactly known for its levity.
It wasn’t just the rapper’s presence at the games that got people talking, but also his American-inspired outfits.
Star Wars actress Natalie Portman looked chic in a mustard blazer and matching skirt.
The 43-year-old wore minimal makeup for the event, revealing her natural beauty.
The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, conveyed his pride for Team USA through his fashion choices, primarily sporting the colors of the American flag.
From a red, white and blue tracksuit with a Kangol cap to Olympic ring-shaped sunglasses and a Snoop Dogg beanie, the 52-year-old managed to dress on theme while also adding touches of his authentic style.
But while fans gushed over his willingness to ridicule himself and display what appeared to be a genuine fascination with a wide range of sports, Snoop’s euphoria was somewhat dampened by the revelation that he was perhaps inspired less by the Olympic spirit than by the huge amounts of money he was being paid.
According to multiple sources, the official US Olympic broadcaster NBC paid Snoop $500,000 (£390,000) a day for his contributions. The $8m total over the 16 days of the games apparently does not include his expenses or pre-production work. Neither NBC nor the rapper have commented on his remuneration.
Meanwhile, Natalie Portman, 41, caught the public’s attention with her elegant yellow outfit at the women’s artistic gymnastics final.
In a departure from the patriotic outfits opted for by other celebrities, the Star Wars actress cut a chic figure in a mustard suit jacket and matching skirt, paired with a simple white T-shirt.
She showed off her natural beauty as she attended the sporting event with minimal makeup.
Michelle Yeoh went for a smart-casual look during the Paris Olympics, opting for tailored suits (seen at the women’s diving medal ceremony).
The Everything Everywhere All at Once actress added a black leather Balenciaga bag to her outfit
In line with Natalie’s formal attire, Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh also opted for a smart casual look.
The Everything Everywhere All at Once actress, 62, has long established herself as a fashion inspiration.
Earlier this year, she electrified the Met Gala red carpet in a strapless, foil-inspired Balenciaga gown.
She continued to demonstrate her style prowess at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a series of sophisticated tailored suits.
And Michelle once again revealed her affinity for Spanish luxury fashion house Balenciaga by sporting a leather bag repeatedly emblazoned with the brand’s name.
The actress, who will appear in Amazon Prime Video’s sci-fi series Blade Runner 2099, added a pair of statement glasses to complement the outfit, adding a touch of individualism to her classic attire.
