The camera captured the shocking moment when a distracted pedestrian was almost hit by a light train in Argentina.
Surveillance images from the Trenes Argentinos railway line showed Facundo Rodríguez looking at his cell phone as he was about to cross a street in the Buenos Aires town of Liniers on Monday morning.
The 24-year-old took three steps toward the street and tried to back away when he was suddenly brushed in the side.
The impact caused Rodriguez to fall to the ground as rush hour customers waiting at the curbside station looked on in shock.
Facundo Rodríguez (circled) was almost hit by a train in Buenos Aires, Argentina, because he was distracted by his cell phone while crossing the street Monday morning.
The surprised young man stood up alone and touched the right side of his head while a passenger checked on his well-being.
Within seconds, two railroad workers approached him as he continued to touch his head.
Rodríguez was treated by paramedics at the scene and left alone.
The Sarmiento Line service, which connects the west of Buenos Aires with the city center, was suspended and resumed after 45 minutes.
Social media users criticized Rodríguez and the dangers of being distracted using the cell phone while walking at the same time.

“This man, distracted while crossing the level crossing, was about to be hit by a train, something that could have ended in tragedy,” he said.
“Fortunately, he had a moment of consciousness that saved him,” they added. “But these types of incidents are becoming more common and dangerous.”
While others questioned Rodriguez’s carelessness, they said the woman standing near him should have alerted when the train was approaching the station.
‘The guy is very stupid, zombie mode on the cell phone, the girl could have done something too,’ another person commented. ‘A few weeks ago an older lady almost came across something similar and I stopped her. You have to be careful because sometimes 2 trains pass at the same time and you think it’s the one who stopped.’
“The guy is an idiot who is distracted… the girl sees the train, sees the guy crossing and doesn’t connect two neurons,” chimed in another social media user.
