Friday the 13th villain Jason Voorhees comes on to encourage people to wear face masks in new PSA

Jason Voorhees and his signature hockey mask have petrified moviegoers in the Friday 13th movie franchise for decades.

The chainsaw-wielding fool inspired a new public service announcement that encouraged people to wear protective face masks during the corona virus crisis.

In the PSA released in June by Ogilvy Health, a character resembling the horror villain admits that ‘a mask makes people a little uncomfortable’, but eventually wears a medical mask over his hockey mask.
