It’s Friday again and the weekend is just around the corner. And any knowledgeable GameStar reader knows what that means: Free games are waiting for you again on Steam & Cothis time six pieces.
As always, some are free to play for a limited time, others are yours to secure forever – and this week you’re even getting half the games to keep.
Highlight of the week: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

The current CoD offshoot recently started its third season and now you can get a taste of the multiplayer part, which is actually subject to a fee, for free and try out all the innovations yourself.
Among other things, two new 6v6 maps, a new sniper rifle and a new, quite powerful battle rifle and three new game modes await in Season 3.
To take advantage of the free promotion, all you need to do is have a Battle.net account and the appropriate launcher installed – you can then simply install the game there and play until April 26, 2023.

Turbo Golf Racing

Desktop Dungeons
Here’s tactical roguelite action for you: You have to build up a kingdom, you earn the necessary money by exploring dark dungeons. Because the successor Desktop Dungeons: Rewind has just been released, you can now keep the predecessor forever.
