Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix won the women’s 10m platform final at the British Diving Championships to qualify for that event at the Paris Olympics.
The 19-year-old jumper, daughter of famous chef Fred Sirieix, won with a score of 363.7 points.
Lois Toulson placed second with 335.90 and Eden Cheng in third achieved 327.75.

He won the event at the British Show Jumping Championships to secure his place for the summer.
Spendolini-Sirieix, 19, is the daughter of celebrity chef Fred Sirieix, host of First Dates.
‘I really like having my coach with me (between dives) just because it helps me get my head out of my head. I like to listen to gospel music just to focus and enjoy the competition.’
When asked what his goal is, he said: ‘Have fun! “We’ll see what happens in Paris, but I really want to enjoy it.”
This was the key event in qualifying for Paris for the 3 and 10 meter diving competitions.
Spendolini-Sirieix won the event and achieved a pre-set point total in both the preliminaries and the final, meaning a second place is also up for grabs.
Jack Laugher took first place in the men’s 3m at the Sandwell Aquatics Center and became the leading candidate to be selected for that event in Paris.
The 29-year-old came fourth in the preliminaries but won the final with 507.20 points, ahead of Jordan Houlden with 476.20 points and Dan Goodfellow, who scored 471.60.
“The first three are my easiest jumps and if I do them right, I know I’m in a good position for the last three,” Laugher said.

“A little wobble in my fourth but fifth and sixth were really good so I’m really happy.”
Spendolini-Sirieix were already traveling to Paris with the Great Britain team, as they had been chosen among the synchronized couples.
