Frankie Bridge has admitted that her husband Wayne wasn’t her usual type when they first met.
The former Saturday singer, 34, and the ex-soccer player, 42, have been married since 2014 and are parents to sons Parker, nine, and seven-year-old Carter.
The Loose Women host made the admission on Thursday’s show when she and her co-hosts discussed whether opposites attract in a relationship.
She said, “Wayne and I when we met we were at the peak of our careers and we had some common ground there.”
Frankie compared her and Wayne’s seemingly unlikely romance to her mother and father, who she said didn’t look like they would be right for each other in their younger years.

She said, “I have pictures of my dad looking like Danny from Grease and mom looking like Sandy before she got cool. They come from such different worlds.
“You can’t say, ‘This is my type, this is my person,’ because if I had, I wouldn’t have ended up with Wayne.”
It comes after Frankie recently shared how she “hung on the back of a boat by her pants” during her lavish Seychelles honeymoon with Wayne.
The couple were enjoying a luxury boat trip and went into the water to go snorkeling when Frankie’s bikini bottom got caught on the boat’s ladder.
The Loose Women panellist, who tied the knot with the former footballer in 2014, said “everything was on display” and the boat crew had to help her “loosen up”.
Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on the Walt Disney Travel Company podcast, Journey To The Magic, Frankie explained the hilarious story that left her red-faced.
She said: ‘Our honeymoon we went to the Seychelles. We went snorkeling for a day. I went into the sea and my bikini bottom got stuck on the ladder you use to climb into the sea.
“I literally hung on the boat by my pants. Obviously everything was on display, and the poor guys working the boat were like, I could tell they were suppressing laughter and trying to help me and me by just saying “Wayne! Wayne!”

After calling her partner’s name and getting no response, she was “unplugged” by the boat crew.
She continued, “But he was already in the water so it’s the most awkward situation I think I’ve ever been in and all these polite men like to try to be really nice about it but I just couldn’t handle it with their whole body to see. faces.
“It’s like coming in and thinking ‘oh my god this is just awful’. They had to untie me. It was not very fitting for a new wife!
“I don’t think Wayne realized what was going on until I told him, then he thought it was hilarious.”
