Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury shared a very tense exchange of words on Wednesday night, with the latter attending the press conference ahead of the former’s clash with Anthony Joshua on Friday night.
Joshua and Ngannou will take center stage later this week in Saudi Arabia as main protagonists in an event called ‘Knockout Chaos’, with Joshua looking to build on an impressive performance last time out.
Ngannou also put on a show in their previous fight, taking Fury the distance in an exhibition match that many truly believed should have been scored in the Cameroonian’s favor.
The Gypsy King took the points victory, and with a possible meeting with Joshua on the line if he can defeat Ngannou, he was at the center of the action on Wednesday.
Ngannou took to the stage to talk about his preparation for his showdown with Joshua, but despite surprising many critics against Fury, he claimed there was still a lot to come from him.

Ngannou and his fellow heavyweight exchanged words in a heated encounter on Wednesday night.
“Yes, it will be the best one yet, but like I said, I’m just getting started,” the 37-year-old said.
“I’m really looking for the win on Friday night, but I don’t think that’s a statement about my career because the road is still long and I still intend to get a lot of wins like this.”
However, it was his next comments that seemed to provoke a reaction from Fury, who was in the crowd watching the conference.
‘One (a victory) over Tyson, one more over Tyson, because (I already) had the first one! I have the first one and I intend to get the second one.
‘I’ve been screwing about it, but it’s true!
‘Fury: Do the job and you’ll get another one (…) this time, but properly, bastard.’
‘I’m going to clean the ring with your butt again, clean the ring with your butt.’ They are going to see blood in the ring.
‘I tell you that your only chance is in the boxing ring, with the rules of boxing. W.When you get down to that ring, you better stay five meters away before I stop you.Because if I lose it, you’re going to have a very bad time.
Ngannou knocked Fury to the mat when they crossed paths, but the fight was ultimately scored against him.
Ngannou claimed he had already beaten Fury even though the fight was in the Briton’s favour.
“Respect the fact that boxing protects us and Boston rules protect us, because without that, in front of me we are nothing.”
“No problem, anytime,” Fury replied.
However, Ngannou still had the last word and ended the exchange by stating: “I will beat you every day, and twice on Sunday!”
Fury announced before Friday’s fight that the winner of the clash would have the opportunity to face either him or Oleksandr Usyk, one of whom will become the unified world heavyweight champion, but only after the pair have a rematch.
