Francesco Totti ‘given shock chance to return to playing by Leeds United this summer’ as his former team-mate Marco Borriello claims ‘a leader of an English team’ has made proposal
Francesco Totti has been offered the chance to move to Leeds this summer, despite retiring two years ago.
The 42-year-old Roma legend hung up his boots in 2017 but according to former team-mate Marco Boriello, Totti has been given the chance to dust them off again at Ellend Road.
Leeds are the club in question and Boriello explained the story to Sky Italia.

‘I know that a great leader of an English team has made him a proposal to go back to playing football,’ he said
‘Radrizzani of Leeds? I don’t know.’
Fox Italia and Tutto Roma later confirmed that it was in fact the Championship side who gauged Totti’s interest.
The legendary Italian became a director at Roma after retiring but was unceremoniously moved on this summer.
He subsequently attacked the board and said his viewpoint was not considered.
