Foxtel announces casting call for new renovation show Selling In The City – but there’s a catch

Foxtel recently announced that Selling Houses Australia would be returning for its 14th season with a brand new line-up of presenters.

And on Sunday, the renovation series launched a casting call for members of the public to join the upcoming spin-off series, Selling In The City.

According to the show official casting page, producers are looking for five apartments, warehouse conversions or townhouses to be renovated at the show.

However, successful applicants hoping to pocket all the sales proceeds will be disappointed.

As a condition of participation in the program, applicants must pay 3.5% of the independently estimated value of the total property before filming.

In order for sellers to be eligible for the show, their home must already be on the market and remain on the market after the makeover until it is sold.

It comes just days after the network announced that former House Rules judge Wendy Moore will replace presenter Shaynna Blaze at Selling Houses Australia.

Shaynna announced her departure from Selling Houses Australia in March.

The interior guru is leaving the show, one of Foxtel’s biggest hits, due to a clash in the schedule.

As reported by the Herald Sun, Selling Houses’ movie dates coincided with the development of Shaynna’s upcoming ‘passion project’.
