Jesse Watters makes a strange claim that scientists claim that men who vote for women

Fox News’ Jesse Watters claimed that American women who vote for Kamala Harris have “mommy issues” and that men who vote for a woman will become one.

Watters, 46, expressed her immense shock that some American women would even consider voting for the presumptive Democratic nominee simply because she is a woman, while appearing on her show, The Five, a Fox News opinion roundtable, on Tuesday.

“Voting for a woman just because she is a woman?” she asked. “Either it is childish or that person has issues with their mother or is simply trying to be accepted by other women.”

The Fox star then joked that his theory is backed up by scientists.

“I heard the other day that scientists said that when a man votes for a woman, he actually becomes a woman,” she said.

The controversial presenter did not mention who these scientists were.

His female co-hosts seemed to strongly disagree with his comments, with Dana Perino saying: “Oh, is that so? Is that what the scientists say?”

“Yes, that’s what the scientists say,” Watters replied, without looking at her.

The Primetime presenter also said he does not understand why a man would vote for a liberal party as it does not represent men’s values.

“I don’t see why any man would vote for the Democrats. It’s not the party of virtue, it’s not the party of security, it’s not the party of strength, it’s definitely not the party of family,” he said, to which one of the co-hosts responded in surprise: “What?”

The topic of family has been raised several times recently after Donald Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance’s comment about “women with cats and no children” resurfaced.

She said in 2021 that childless women were “miserable about their own lives and the choices they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”

He specifically mentioned Vice President Kamala Harris, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

“The future of the Democrats is in the hands of people without children,” Vance said. “What’s the point of us handing our country over to people who really have no vested interest in it?”

Although Harris and Buttigieg do not have biological children of their own, Harris is a stepmother to Ella and Cole Emhoff and Buttigieg is a father to adopted twins.

She recently defended her ‘Momala’ (a nickname for the current vice president) after Vance’s comments resurfaced.

“How can you not have kids when you have such adorable kids like Cole and I?” she wrote in an Instagram story. “I love all three of my parents.”

Watters’ claims come after a new poll showed Harris leading the former president in several key states.

A Fox News spokesperson told DailyMail.com of the segment: “Anyone who watched the entire segment can obviously tell he was joking, which also became clear later in the discussion.”

There has been a major shift since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race, according to the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult Poll.

Overall, the race is close, but the poll shows Harris holding a slim lead over Trump in the seven key states, with 48 percent to Trump’s 47 percent. That reverses the two-point lead Trump held in the key states before Biden dropped out of the race.

Harris is now ahead in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin.

Polls show Harris holding a massive 11-point lead over Trump in the crucial state of Michigan. She also has two-point leads in Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin.

The race between Harris and Trump is now tied in Georgia. On Tuesday, the vice president received a roaring welcome when more than 10,000 people turned out for her first rally as a presumptive presidential candidate in Atlanta.

The poll shows Trump with a two-point lead in North Carolina, a state he won in 2020, as well as a four-point lead in Pennsylvania.

Harris appears to be getting a boost in battleground states thanks to a surge in enthusiasm for the presidential race among voters.
