Fox News host Jesse Watters sparked a fierce debate after criticizing Doug Emhoff for shopping, suggesting it’s not a masculine activity for “real men.”

On Thursday, the controversial host, 46, responded to a video showing former Vice President Kamala Harris shopping for groceries with her husband.

“The New York Post caught her shopping with Doug E. Fresh,” Watters said in the Fox News clip, which shows the former Second Gentleman at the checkout with Harris at the Los Angeles store.

‘What kind of husband goes shopping with his wife?’ he asked in disbelief.

Watters has previously attacked men who drink milkshakes, taking a bath, eating ice cream in public and using straws, declaring the activities as lacking in masculinity.

Watters’ opinion sparked a furious debate on social media, with some agreeing with his explosive opinion and others pointing out that a man going shopping is not unusual.

‘The kind of man who loves his wife and enjoys her company. Unfortunately, those are not the kind of men Fox News employs. And it stinks!’ responded one user.

“Many husbands, in fact some even shop alone without their wives,” noted another.

“I know it must be hard to understand, but a little shopping or helping your wife won’t diminish your masculinity,” the user added.

‘In any case, it is a sign of confidence, not weakness. Clearly some people need to catch up!’ someone else added.

But others expressed their support for the Fox News host.

“Liberal heads are exploding because Jesse Watters bodyed Doug Emhoff,” one user growled.

“Jesse Watters is a role model for MAGA,” declared another.

In September, the divisive host attempted to mock Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz for being photographed drinking a milkshake through a straw.

“Women love masculinity and women don’t love Tim Walz,” Watters declared. “So that should tell you how masculine Tim Walz is.”

‘The other day you saw him with a vanilla ice cream shake. It had a straw inside. “Once again, that says it all,” he added mockingly.

Harris and Emhoff, who have been married for 10 years, put on a united front during a trip to the 99 Ranch Market in Los Angeles on Thursday, amid rumors that the former Second Couple’s marriage is in trouble.

Sources told DailyMail.com on Wednesday that they may now believe Emhoff is “dead weight” because of a scandal over his son’s nanny’s pregnancy.

Just before the election, in which Donald Trump was elected the 47th president of the United States, Watters criticized a commercial encouraging women to hide their vote, suggesting that going against your spouse with your vote was like a adventure.

The ad, produced by Vote Common Good, a nonprofit aimed at mobilizing religious voters, encourages the wives of Donald Trump supporters to quietly vote for Kamala Harris.

The ad, in which Academy Award winner Julia Roberts endorsed Harris, sparked a conservative backlash online, with some accusing it of undermining marital unity and creating distrust.

Watters criticized the announcement on both The Five and his own show Thursday, saying it would be “D-Day” if his second wife, Emma DiGiovine, voted for Harris.

“That violates the sanctity of our marriage,” he insisted. ‘What else are you hiding from me? What are you lying about?
