Violent crime in Democratic-run cities has left residents “legitimately endangered” by “thugs, criminals and deranged green hairs,” Tomi Lahren warned.
The Fox Nation commentator recalled her time living in Los Angeles, when she had to run the challenge on the streets of the city while working for the network.
The experience left her afraid to leave her South Bay home, she told the Skinny Confidential Podcast, and prompted her to move to Tennessee.
“I couldn’t go to Santa Monica, I had numerous assignments here in West Hollywood for Hannity, where I was going to do Man in the Street, people were yelling at me,” he said.
‘Living in Hermosa Beach, I would like to go to Tower 12, a girl pushed me against the wall in Tower 12 and called me a name starting with C.
Fox Nation’s Tomi Lahren said violent crime in Democratic-run cities has left residents “legitimately in danger” as he explained his move to Tennessee.
A group of bikers were filmed setting off illegal fireworks in a busy entertainment district in Hermosa Beach over the weekend, nearly hitting several children.
‘I mean this was an everyday thing: people followed me because of The Vons.
“It’s not just me,” the OutKick host added.
‘Thank God I live in Tennessee, I feel bad for a lot of these people who don’t have the protection of living in a place like I can live.
“There are a lot of people right now who are legitimately in danger and they are here in Los Angeles, in New York, in Washington DC and in Portland, and it’s really sad.”
His comments came just days after California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced plans to cut funding for law enforcement as the state struggles with a massive deficit of at least $45 billion.
The proposed budget includes a $97 million cut to trial court operations, $10 million to the Justice Department’s Law Enforcement Division and more than $80 million to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Fox News reported.
At the same time, violent crime in Los Angeles increased 2.9 percent in the first three months of 2024, robberies increased 9.5 percent, and homicides increased 28.1 percent.
Hermosa Beach residents suffered another night of misery last weekend when large gangs of e-bike riders stormed the area launching fireworks into the crowded streets.
A shoplifter in Santa Monica accused a store owner of breaking the law in a dramatic video released earlier this month after she tried to leave with a stack of stolen jackets.
“You have my jacket and you have to give it back to me right now,” Amber Jolly of Granercy Boutique told him.

California now accounts for one-third of the entire homeless population in the United States.
Newsom’s plan comes as major national stores and local businesses in California say they continue to face rampant theft and crime.
The woman responded: ‘Brother, you know what you are doing is illegal, you can’t-‘.
‘Give me my jacket right now,’ Jolly insisted, ‘I won’t let you steal from my store!’
Jolly told CBS News he felt he had to confront the woman because theft has reached an all-time high in California.
‘Businesses are closing left and right because of all this looting. “The system is broken and nothing is being done about it,” Jolly said.
Many of those lucky enough to follow Lahren out of state, with 340,000 more leaving than arriving in 2022.
Los Angeles is 340,000 fewer people than in 2019, while San Francisco, San Diego and Santa Clara counties are each missing about 40,000 people.
Meanwhile, Florida gained nearly 250,000, while Texas had 174,261.
California’s population is 1.2 percent smaller than in 2019 and, based on current trends, will not reach pre-pandemic numbers until around 2032.
Homelessness rose 6 percent to more than 180,000 people in California last year, federal data shows, even though the state spent $24 billion to address homelessness in the five years through 2023.
And since 2013, numbers have skyrocketed by 53 percent, with the state accounting for one-third of the entire homeless population in the United States.
Lahren faced a hostile response when she tweeted their exchange on X, with some accusing her of cowardice in leaving Los Angeles.
“So if people from Democratic states move to Tennessee, you’re not going to complain about that?” -asked Jerry Navarro.
‘You just went to CA full of undeserved arrogance, couldn’t get the attention from Newsom you craved, and left. Period,” stated WWonTwit.
But the 31-year-old was defiant and insisted she had done the only sensible thing.
“Another great reason to leave the shitty blue states that allow thugs, criminals and deranged green hairs to run amok,” he tweeted.
