Former economic adviser to Donald Trump, Larry Kudlow, said there was “outright flirtation” between first lady Jill Biden and Donald Trump during Notre Dame’s reopening ceremony this weekend.
Kudlow, who served as director of the National Economic Council under Trump, made a bold statement about the intimate moment, drawing laughter from his Fox News cohosts by referencing grinning images from inside the cathedral.
It happened during a segment attempting to contrast the outgoing administration’s acceptance of Trump during the transition period, despite calling him a threat to democracy and top figures comparing him to Adolf Hitler in the final days of the election.
‘I want to go back into the church for a moment, take a good look at it. That wasn’t a nice conversation, that was straight up flirting,” Kudlow, 77, said as he spoke to fellow “Outnumbered” panelists over footage of Trump leaning over to talk to the president’s wife.
‘Oh my god!’ exclaimed co-host Harris Faulkner.
‘That was almost heavy petting at G7 level. I’ve been there and seen these things before,” Kudlow said, including an odd reference to the group of powerful democracies.
That comment elicited an “oh my god” from someone off-screen.

“I’m just saying, the evidence is piling up,” he continued.
He then referenced President Biden’s Oval Office meeting with Trump after the election, where Biden spoke about the importance of the peaceful transition of power, not long after calling Trump a serious threat.
“Go back when Joe met Trump in the Oval Office and (in front of the) big fire in the background as they sat together and looked the happiest he’s looked in years. Why? Because he also voted for Trump.”
The crack of Trump’s former aide, who recently said he is no longer joining the administration, asserts a form of dominance over the outgoing president with the unverified claim of affection.
There is no indication that Biden or the first lady voted for Trump.
Immediately after Kudlow delivered his speech, former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany intervened: “Larry with a sharp take on the day — and when I say ‘hot hit,’ no pun intended, Emily,” she said .
Cohost Emily Compagno told Kudlow, “You did a good job,” after a segment that showed an image of Jill Biden in red on Election Day, launching a meme stating she voted for Biden amid the reported chill between Biden and Kamala Harris.
Then Compagno said of Trump, “He’s charming and kind and wonderful and kind and warm and funny and all these things, so of course she’s going to smile at him because he’s a wonderful and normal person.”
Kudlow, a former economic adviser to Trump, likened the exchange to “heavy duty petting”
‘Larry with a good outlook on the day,’ said Trump’s former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany
‘Oh my god!’ exclaimed co-host Harris Faulkner
Many claimed Jill looked incredibly animated during the cordial meeting – as the partisan pair leaned against each other and chatted in the City of Love.
Donald Trump has made a suggestive statement about a virally intimate moment he shared with Jill Biden during a trip to Notre Dame with the above post on Truth Social
Faulkner came up with her own long-distance diagnosis, telling Kudlow that “besides some of the extracurricular activities you’ve described, I believe that you do indeed want to be attracted to in these moments – she clearly leans toward power.”
Kudlow wasn’t the only one trying to make something of the brief conversation at Notre Dame. Trump posted an image of it during his Truth Social fight and used it to promote his new fragrance, which retailed for $199 a bottle for both women and men.
‘Here are my new Trump perfumes and colognes! I call them fight, fight, fight, because they represent WINNING us,” Trump wrote. ‘Great Christmas gifts for the whole family.’

The eyebrow-raising accusation from the thrice-married Kudlow came as Biden faced criticism from insiders for a “cavalier” attitude in the final days of his administration, ceding the field to Trump and making it seem as if he is “already president.”
The warm exchange took place in the cathedral as the two sat next to each other. The first lady sat next to daughter Ashley Biden. It was a show of unity that reflected the president’s meeting with Trump. Former first lady Melania Trump did not attend the traditional tea with her predecessor, but instead sent a note.
Trump launched a PR offensive with an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” where he said he would not demand that his picks Kash Patel as FBI director or Pam Bondi as attorney general pursue “retaliation” against his political enemies.
Trump showed no particular interest in prosecuting the Bidens, saying, “I really want to make our country successful.” He said members of the House January 6 Committee should be in jail, but said he would not order his AG or the FBI director to investigate them. “I think they should look into that,” he said, but “I’m not going to tell them to do that,” he said.
