A four-year-old boy was struck by a car and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The toddler was struck by a car in the Epsom area of the Victorian city of Bendigo at 8:35am Wednesday morning, with the male driver of the vehicle stopped to assist on the scene.
The “school-age” boy was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne by air ambulance, where he remains stable.
Epsom Primary School, located down the road from the accident, confirmed that the boy is not a student there.
