Two minors under the age of 10 are among four pedestrians injured after a vehicle crossed a busy Manhattan street.
A witness claimed to have seen a victim “flying through the air” near Grand Central Station at East 42nd and Lexington Avenue.
Police say none of the victims involved suffered life-threatening injuries. The two children would be five and seven years old, according to NBC.
A man was taken into custody, while a woman – believed to be in the passenger seat of the vehicle – fled the area on foot, Citizen reported.
Responding officers requested additional units for traffic and crowd control.
