Several Australian tourists are in critical condition after suspected mass alcohol poisoning in Fiji.

Seven guests at the Warwick Resort on Fiji’s Coral Coast reportedly fell ill after drinking a cocktail at the venue’s bar on Saturday night.

The group was rushed to the nearby Sigatoka hospital with “nausea, vomiting and neurological symptoms,” local media Fiji Village reported.

Two of them were later transferred to Lautoka hospital due to the seriousness of their condition.

It is understood that four of the seven guests are Australian and the tourists are aged between 18 and 56.

Police and health inspectors are investigating the cause of the illness.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Warwick Resort for comment.

More to come.
