Four footy fans arrested after violent brawl in Collingwood’s MCG win…with a supporter wearing a Magpies jersey seen throwing a flurry of punches

Football fans involved in an ugly brawl were arrested at the MCG during Collingwood’s clash with Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.
The fight, which broke out near the end of the match, is believed to have been sparked by an argument between different groups of men at the Ponsford Stand.
Police and MCG security rushed to the scene to break up the fight, before leading the men away from the scene.
A man involved in the physical altercation had blood on his face, however no serious injuries were reported.
Fans close to the incident cheered as the men involved were carried out of the stands.

Over 60,000 soccer fans were at the MCG to witness the Magpies win, particularly in the first half when they racked up nine straight goals, eventually winning 21.9 (135) to 9.10 (64).
“Our pressure in the first half was exceptional,” Magpies coach Craig McRae said. “You come into a game hoping that the players will bring that kind of intensity, and that was fantastic.”

Nick Daicos produced another incredible performance, kicking a game-high two majors of 32 throwouts.
“Nick is a great player, an emerging talent, so we have to accept that,” McRae said.
“I told Nick that this will probably come and that we want to support him as a team… but he has an incredible ability to play multiple roles, which makes him difficult to tag.
“This is just the natural progression of a player who is an emerging talent.
“All the best players have to go through this, this is part of their journey right now.”
