The Stake F1 team has changed its name for this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix.
The manufacturer formerly known as Alfa Romeo will be renamed Kick Sauber over the next three days due to strict advertising laws in Australia.
Stake is an online betting company founded by 28-year-old Australian crypto-billionaire Edward Craven.
However, Australian rules prohibit gambling advertising during live sports, on online and broadcast platforms, between 5:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
All of this weekend’s action will take place over three days at Albert Park, meaning the team’s other main sponsor, Kick, will take over the naming rights.

Due to advertising laws, gambling brands are not allowed to appear at certain times of the day on Australian television.
The team will also be called Kick Sauber for races in Spain, Belgium and Qatar this season.
Kick has had a slow start to the season and is one of four teams yet to score points after the first two races.
Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas were hampered by pit stop issues, which hurt their chances of entering the top 10.
“We have not solved the problem 100% because there is a delay for some components and materials that we need,” Bottas said before the weekend.
“But I think we should be in a better position and I will have more confidence going into the pits this weekend.”
“Fingers crossed everything goes well and hopefully this way we can have clean races and fight for points.”
Zhou added: “I think it was clear that we needed to rethink the entire equipment system for the pit stop team.
“Of course, unfortunately we can’t really rethink the design at the moment, but we are already making some adjustments to the wheel nut and wheel guns and ensuring that the problem is solved. Fingers crossed that everything can move forward.
“I think we seem to have a good level of racing as a team, we just need to clean up the weekend a bit.
“Obviously the pit stop is key. I love the track, I love the place, the fans and the atmosphere is always one of the best of the year, so it’s really happy and nice to come to Melbourne.
