Formula 1 racing champion Lewis Hamilton pulled a cool $ 40 million for a beautiful penthouse apartment in Manhattan.
The Briton, 34, bought the four-bed penthouse in a condo project with celebrities in Tribeca, just a stone's throw from another penthouse he'd bought in 2017.
The penthouse is located on 70 Vestry Street, a limestone building designed by Robert A.M. Stern architects, reported The Wall Street Journal.

The property has four bedrooms and covers 6,457 square meters in addition to more than 3,000 square meters of outdoor space. The house also has an unobstructed view of the Hudson River.
The development, complete with a large courtyard, also has a 82-meter swimming pool, a squash court, a library and a lounge where wealthy residents can organize dinners and cocktail parties.
The Wall Street Journal reported that one block east is Hamilton's other apartment, located at 443 Greenwich Street.
The loft-style apartment is set in a former bookbindery, an indoor pool and a wine cellar.
Other celebrities who owned properties at the address are actors Jennifer Lawrence and Mike Myers.
Hamilton bought the unit in March 2017 through the same holding as his last purchase.

He won his fifth Formula One title last year and only became the third driver in history to win.
Hamilton officially lives in Monaco and owns an apartment in a block in which several Formula 1 drivers live.
But the five-time world champion is an avid traveler, often skipping over continents when he is not racing.
He is the best-selling driver in the sport and has endorsement deals with Mercedes-Benz, Tommy Hilfiger, Monster Energy, Puma, IWC, Sony, Bombardier, Bell Helmets and MV Agusta Motorcycles.
Hamilton is rumored that they are dating the American rapper Niki Minaj (left) with the duo spotted at various events in recent months
A deal with Tommy Hilfiger signed in 2018 makes Hamilton an ambassador of the brand with plans for him to promote the Hilfiger collection, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored line and his range of menswear, underwear and swimwear.
He is currently in 47th place on the rich list of Forbes Rich 2018 with an estimated fortune of $ 51 million.
Last year he lit up rumors about a romance with Niki Minaj – when the two appeared on each other's Instagram accounts.
They were spotted through a desert on a single four-wheeler in Dubai.
In September, Nicki was again seen as co-owner of Lewis for his new Tommy Hilfiger collaboration during the show.
Lewis has been romantically connected – confirmed or not – to people like Nicole Scherzinger, Rita Ora, Sofia Richie, Winnie Harlow, Rihanna and Kendall Jenner.
