Former super middleweight world champion Carl Froch makes a sensational return to the ring to take on legend Roy Jones Jr.
Froch, 43, has been in conversation with the 52-year-old American, who has won world titles in four different weight classes, about an exhibition match.
And NOttinghamshire Live reports that negotiations could be concluded this week.

And the fight could take place in Froch’s hometown of Nottingham.
Froch has not been in the ring since he famously knocked out George Groves at Wembley Stadium in 2014.
Jones’ last performance took place in November 2020 when he participated in an exhibition match with Mike Tyson in Los Angeles.
The result was scored as a split draw in a pay-per-view event that drew the sixth largest pay-per-view crowd in boxing history,
The 43-year-old now works as an expert, but won 33 of his 35 fights between 2002 and 2014
Jones thinks he still has plenty to offer.
“Carl Froch says I was shot to pieces,” he told IFL TV. ‘Well okay. But show me, show me I’ve been shot to pieces.
‘Let me see. I don’t care, show me I’m shot to pieces. Wembley Stadium, live – 80, 100,000, I don’t care.
‘Show me I’ve been shot to pieces. If you’re right, come to me.’
