Former Trump aide Rep. Max Miller, 35, has filed for divorce from his wife Emily Moreno, 30, less than a year after the birth of their newborn baby.
According to a court filing from Cuyahoga County, Ohio, first obtained by DailyMail.com, the rookie Ohio congressman is divorcing his wife Emily after two years of marriage.
The breakup of their marriage comes 10 months after the birth of their firstborn, Ruth. Miller had posted a message on Instagram on November 4, 2023 introducing “our beautiful daughter Ruth” and said at the time that her birth was a reminder of the “importance of family.”
Emily is also the daughter and former campaign manager of Bernie Moreno, who is the Republican Senate candidate and is facing Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown in one of the most competitive and expensive races in the country.
Moreno and Miller got engaged in 2021 after his troubled relationship with Melania’s former spokeswoman and White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham came to an end following allegations of “abuse.”
A year later, in August 2022, President Donald Trump spoke at her wedding at her golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. He praised Max, one of his favorite former members whom he supported in his bid for Congress.

The couple are believed to have been together for 18 months and even had a French bulldog named Gus, before things are believed to have turned sour.
Grisham originally declined to comment on the allegations and Miller denied the assault claims.
She also accused Miller of taking the bulldog Gus that he gave her after they split up.
In October 2021, Grisham, 46, wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post claiming the Trumps “didn’t seem to care” when she told them her relationship with Miller had become “abusive.”
Miller then filed a defamation lawsuit against Grisham in 2021, which has since been dismissed “with prejudice” before going to a jury trial.

“Sir, you are a criminal,” Miller said in the House plenary session about Santos, earning his ire.
Santos counterattacked: “My colleague wants to come here and call me a criminal. The same colleague who is accused of mistreating women. Are we really going to ignore the fact that we all have a past?”
Miller’s divorce case from Emily Moreno, first reviewed by DailyMail.com, was filed on August 27 and is designated under “Divorce-Children.”
According to the filing, a subpoena was served on Emily on Wednesday, but she did not respond to requests for comment.
There is also a “mutual” restraining order between the two parties.

A spokesman for Miller did not respond to a request for comment.
Miller and Moreno grew up in the Cleveland area, he in the affluent suburb of Shaker Heights and she in Westlake.
Miller is an heir to the prominent real estate company Forest City Enterprises and Moreno is the daughter of a luxury car dealer turned Senate candidate who suspended his campaign in February after meeting with Trump.
The couple met while working on Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s 2015 presidential campaign.
They dated briefly before splitting up when Miller left to work for the Trump campaign and Moreno went to work for Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis. They reunited when Moreno left Johnson to work for a Washington, D.C.-based public affairs firm.

Moreno has since created a dating app for Trump supporters and worked for her father’s Senate campaign while making appearances with Miller during his campaign.
The wedding was packed with right-wing political figures, including former acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway and even Trump himself.
An attendee at his wedding told DailyMail.com that Trump praised the groom in his speech.
Trump used his speech to announce that he plans to make peace and support one of his Republican rivals, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
“He told Max to let his governor know that he was going to support him and he harshly criticized the Democratic candidate, who was mayor and was unpleasant to him when he visited Ohio,” the guest said.
“He told Max, ‘Let him know that I will support him until the end.'”
Miller previously dated former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham. Their relationship ended in 2020.
Maintaining close ties to the former president, Miller earned an enthusiastic endorsement from Trump in his campaign.
He offered no further details on his change of heart, but the decision comes after DeWine secured the party’s nomination in May.
He faced three rivals who positioned themselves to his right and who desperately courted Trump.
Although the former president avoided endorsing anyone, he made clear his disdain for the current president.
Ten days before the primary, while campaigning for Republican candidates in Ohio, he attacked DeWine.
“No matter what, we had this terrible governor. Terrible, terrible guy,” Trump said. “And he was fighting us.”
Trump had suggested he might back anyone challenging DeWine for the nomination after the Ohio governor recognized Biden as president-elect a week after the result was announced.
“Who will run for Governor of the great state of Ohio? This will be a very close election!” he tweeted.
And after January 6, DeWine said it was time to move on.

“Joe Biden has been elected President of the United States and will be sworn in in two weeks,” he said.
Before the election, he even encouraged an almost exclusively mail-in election, at a time when Trump was expressing concerns that absentee voting was rife with fraud.
For many Trump supporters, that has made him the quintessential RINO: Republican in name only.
The wedding guest said the former president was in fine form on Saturday night, though he declined invitations to join the dancing.
