The former English Premier League star Dietmar Hamann was not guilty of attacking his girlfriend during his holiday in Sydney.
The 45-year-old, who was famous for Liverpool, is accused of pushing his girlfriend to a house in Randwick in the early hours of Friday morning.
The German international did not go to Waverley Local Court on Thursday when his lawyer made a non-guilty plea against a single indictment of domestic violence.

Hamann's bail continued, with the case adjourned until December 12.
The police, who arrested him near the Randwick home, also accepted an arrested order of violence on behalf of the victim.
Known as Didi for his fans, the midfielder – who also played for Manchester City and Newcastle – helped Liverpool win the Champions League in 2005.
He has been on vacation in Australia since 2018.
Hamann was back on Irish television in September as an expert for RTE Sport, but had to give up his passport as part of his bail conditions.
He must also report to the police twice a week.
The police also issued an arrested order of violence on behalf of the victim against the former winner of the Champions League
