Former NFL star and Amazon Prime analyst Richard Sherman has been arrested for DUI.

Fox 13 in Seattle reported the arrest before it was confirmed by the Washington State Patrol, and King County jail records show he was booked at 7:51 a.m. Saturday.

Sherman, a cornerback, won the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014 and was selected to the Pro Bowl five times.

He also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers during 11 seasons in the NFL.

Sherman worked on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football broadcast last season.

The Washington State Patrol said the incident remains under investigation and more details will only be available when the Prosecutor’s Office files the case.

In March 2022, Sherman pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges stemming from driving while intoxicated and domestic disturbance in the summer of 2021, as part of a deal that spared him further prison time.

Sherman was arrested after police said he crashed his pickup truck in a construction zone and tried to break into his in-laws’ suburban Seattle home, where his wife Ashley and their children were staying.

His father-in-law, Raymond Moss, told officers he armed himself with a gun and fired pepper spray at Sherman to protect his family. Ashley later called 911.

Sherman, who said after the arrest that he was “deeply remorseful,” pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors: first-degree negligent driving and second-degree criminal trespass.

He also admitted a criminal offense for speeding in a road construction zone.

Sherman, 33, became a Seattle sports legend during seven seasons with the Seahawks. The cornerback was a star in his run to victory in the 2014 Super Bowl, making a game-saving play to deflect a pass in the NFC championship game against the 49ers.

He is also the founder of the Blanket Coverage Foundation, a charity that provides clothing and school supplies to low-income students.
