Former NBA player Glen Davis was sentenced to 40 months in prison Thursday, plus three years of supervised release, following his conviction in November 2023 for participating in a scheme to defraud the league’s health care plan.
Davis is one of 20 people, including other former players such as Will Bynum, Terrence Williams and Keyon Dooling, who were accused of submitting false reimbursement claims to the NBA’s health and wellness benefits plan for medical care and procedures that in They were never actually realized. Davis and Bynum were convicted by a Manhattan jury last November.
