A former NBA player now running for Senate in Minnesota has a recent history of making controversial statements against women and LGBTQ+ people.
Royce White, who played mostly overseas but played three games with the Sacramento Kings in 2014, has entered politics in recent years.
White already made headlines this week, allegedly for wasting more than $100,000 in campaign dollars on strip club nights, clothing and mysterious bank transfers.
Despite leading the Black Lives Matter protests following the death of George Floyd, he has become more identified with the far right in recent years, appearing with the likes of Alex Jones and Steve Bannon.
