Former MLB pitcher Juan Jaime tragically passed away at the age of 37 after suffering a heart attack, according to reports.
Jaime enjoyed two seasons with the Atlanta Braves in 2014 and 2015, making a total of 18 appearances during those campaigns.

Jaime’s career began when he signed as an amateur free agent with the Washington Nationals in 2007.
He pitched for his rookie Dominican Summer League team that year, before spending a brief time with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.
The right-hander signed with the Braves in August of that year, where he struck out 19 batters and walked 13 after facing 70.

The Dominican star enjoyed two seasons with the Atlanta Braves back in 2014 and 2015.
In 2014, he posted a 5.84 ERA in 16 relief appearances, before allowing one run in 1.1 innings in two appearances the following season.
Jaime finished his MLB career with a 5.93 ERA and a plus FIP of 4.38.
The Braves eventually traded him to the Los Angeles Dodgers as part of a six-player deal in 2015, only to spend the rest of that season in the team’s farm system.
He then left MLB and headed to Japan to play with the Chunichi Dragons, before being released by two teams in the space of a month after a failed move to Mexico.
While his time in the MLB was brief, Damián Rancez of MSN.com described Jaime’s impact on Dominican Republic baseball as “undeniable.”
