Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan confirmed they are working on a new project on Monday.
The former MasterChef Australia judges, who left the Network Ten cooking competition series in 2019, met at the Channel Seven offices in Sydney.
While it’s unclear exactly what project the food critic, 62, and the chef, 57, may have been discussing with Seven, Gary’s rep confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that they have plenty of new projects in the works.
‘Gary and Matt are doing several projects together. “One of them is Luxury Escapes, a series of tourist trips,” a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.
“The first two tickets sold out within 24 hours, India and Vietnam, and the Sri Lanka tour is about to go on sale, with several more now being planned.”

The spokesperson went on to say that Matt and Gary had “recently filmed an episode of a series in India called Ultimate HomeChef Competition.”
Appearing in the series finale, the pair returned to their roots and acted as judges for the episode which “aired on NatGeo India last weekend.”
The duo were all smiles after what appeared to be a fruitful encounter with Seven, with Gary gesticulating wildly during a cheerful conversation with his entourage.
The English-Australian chef and restaurateur donned a pair of beige pants under a black sweater and a khaki jacket to ward off the cold.
After the food critic and chef left the Network Ten cooking competition series in 2019, the duo appeared to have turned to rival Seven to work on a rumored new project.
She then accessorized it with a pair of matching boots and trendy black frames while carrying a large black bag and wrapping a scarf around her neck.
Meanwhile, his co-star and friend Matt wore a simple pair of blue jeans with a black button-down shirt tucked in.
He completed his stylish look with a khaki vest and brown dress shoes before draping a scarf over his shoulders.
Notably absent is George Calombaris, who once made up one-third of the famous trio after working together for ten years on MasterChef Australia.
While it’s unclear exactly what project Matt and Gary may have been discussing with Seven, a representative for Gary confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that they have many new projects in the works together.
However, the spokesperson confirmed that Matt and Gary would be re-teaming with their former co-star soon.
‘They are also working on a tour of India in August with George for a company called Conosh. A series of dinners and master classes,” they said.
Matt, Gary and George were spotted working together in May, when they came together to support a very worthy cause.
The veteran TV judges took over the kitchen at the Sorrento Hotel on the Mornington Peninsula for the Friends of George event to raise funds for Bowel Cancer Australia.
The spokesperson also confirmed that Matt and Gary will soon team up with his former MasterChef co-star George Calombaris, 45 (centre), for another project.
The three former reality stars agreed to come together for the cause, in support of George’s late father Jim, who died from the disease in November last year.
George, 45, admitted he felt an instant connection with his former colleagues upon meeting them.
‘It’s really nice, it’s like riding a bike with these guys. We have great memories together,” he told Herald of the sun At the time.
‘The old cliché about being like a family is true. “George’s dad was a big part of our family, it’s all a community,” Matt added.
