Hannibal Mejbri became a Manchester United legend on Saturday despite no longer playing for the club.
The 21-year-old left Old Trafford to sign for Burnley and Turf Moor earlier this summer after spending five years as a Red.
However, it turned out that once a red, always a red and Mejbri proved that his footballing roots still run deep.
The midfielder started for Scott Parker’s Clarets side that recorded a 1-0 win over Leeds United, but it wasn’t his performance on the pitch that made the headlines.
The Tunisia international was dubbed the “new king of f***ing” for his antics at Elland Road after outrageously taunting his former rivals as he walked off the pitch.

When he was substituted in the 73rd minute of the match, the young midfielder made sure to cheer and jeer at the large contingent of home fans.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Mejbri can be seen approaching the home fans and staring at them, before pointing at them and at one point appearing to show them the 1-0 scoreline with his fingers.
His bold actions immediately earned him loud boos from both sets of fans in the stands, albeit for very different reasons.
Leeds fans quickly became enraged and shouted words of abuse at the star as he was led away by three security staff.
However, once he left the hostile side of the Leeds fans behind, he was greeted with cheers of approval from the Burnley fans, who applauded and enjoyed his bold antics.
He ended the show by fist-pumping the home crowd before turning to the Leeds fans for one last dig.
Mejbri infuriated Leeds fans with his antics when he was substituted in the 73rd minute of the equaliser.
The 21-year-old bravely taunted the Leeds fans by holding up the marker with his fingers.
He then went on to celebrate with the Burnley fans before turning around to deliver one final dig at the Elland Road faithful.
The Burnley star quickly earned the respect of his club’s fans, as one person can be heard saying “what a f***ing legend” in the video.
The praise for Mejbru was not limited to what was heard in the stadium. Once the video began circulating on social media, it was a hit with Burnley and Manchester United fans.
One fan reacting to the video on X said: “Hannibal Mejbri is quickly becoming the new shitty singer.”
Followed by a second who said, “Hannibal, you are a hero.”
While a third added: “Love this from Hannibal Mejbri during the Burnley Leeds game this afternoon.”
