Last year, Spencer said he regretted the famous scene, saying: “I feel embarrassed about it.”

During the heated shouting match, Spencer told Louise: “It’s so hard to respect you when you let me cheat on you.”

The mother of one claimed that the show celebrated men for “pitting women against each other,” which made their female counterparts look “weak.”

During the tense moment, Louise broke down in tears as their on-off romance hit another bump in the road when Spencer admitted her infidelities.

Speaking on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, Louise criticized the program as a “waste of a good education”, after gaining a geography degree at the University of Edinburgh.

Louise said: “I had been through a pretty tough breakup in Edinburgh and was ready to try something new and couldn’t keep saying no.”

“I came to London and it was a fun time for me because I was trying to be a serious student in Edinburgh and I had great friends there.

“Everyone is a bit more academic and studious and then I was going to film Made in Chelsea, where we were filming in nightclubs and driving fast cars, that sort of thing.

“At first it was £25 a day, then it went up to £50 after a series, and after a while I was paid £200 a day and that was the limit – it was the absolute maximum.”

Louise, who left the show in 2020 after nine years, went on to discuss how the show favored the male cast members.

She said: “The men always came out on top, which is ridiculous because most of the people working on the show were women.”

‘They were celebrated for being naughty and bad and for playing with us.

“I always felt like I was quite kind and treated people with respect – and I ended up coming across as very weak and like a doormat.

“It’s really strange that the nation always seemed to be rooting for someone who was horrible… I would go through these breakups, I would be really, really upset, and people would see it and think I was too weak to cry.”

Her comments come after her Made In Chelsea alum Mimi Bouchard criticized the show’s producers for “manipulating” the young cast.

Canadian reality TV personality Mimi joined the E4 show for series 13 in 2017, filming when she was just 19 years old.

Her time at MIC was made memorable by a love triangle storyline with Liv Bentley and Frederick Ferrier and a feud with Tiffany Watson over her then on-and-off boyfriend Sam Thompson.

But six years after her last appearance on the show in 2018, Mimi revealed she was living a ‘double life’ on the show in a new interview on John R. Miles. Beaten Passion Podcast.

The show portrayed Chelsea’s social elite living a decadent life in some of the capital’s most exclusive postcodes, but Mimi said she would struggle to “make the rent” and to do so she had to babysit in the evenings after filming. .

Speaking on the podcast, Mimi, now 27, said: “By the way, they pay like shit. When I started I was paid £50 a day to film a 12 hour day.

‘And they push you in a manipulative way, they really take advantage of younger and weaker people, and I was that at the time.

“I was very young and I did what they told me because they were also dancing this visa over my head.”

Mimi, who returned for the show’s 15th season in 2018 with her now-fiancé Ben Darby, said the show shouldn’t be called a “reality show” as much of it “isn’t real.”

He continued: ‘It really shouldn’t be called reality. In my experience, it is not.

‘There is X on the ground, where to go stand. You don’t have a script, but they inform you and tell you basically if you want to do well in the scene, if you want to be able to film more, if you want to be able to make more money, because the more you film, the more money you make.’

“Some things were real, but many weren’t because the cast was pressured to make up stories to book more days of filming.”

And even though the show filmed “these supposedly rich young kids,” Mimi said she was forced to babysit because she “couldn’t pay the rent,” calling it a “double life.”
