Former Germany national team coach Joachim Löw is reportedly interested in the vacant England job.
Low, 64, led his country to World Cup glory in Brazil in 2014 and was in charge of the team for 15 years.
He is said to be happy to speak to the FA following Gareth Southgate’s resignation, according to Sun.
This comes after it was revealed that Ange Postecoglou is reportedly on the FA’s shortlist of candidates to become England’s next manager.
Several candidates have been linked with the England job so far, including Eddie Howe, Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Jurgen Klopp.
Joachim Löw’s last game in charge of Germany was against England at Euro 2020, and he is now keen to replace Gareth Southgate following his resignation.

Low has not managed a team for three years, but is eager to get back on the pitch.
However, it is understood that Tuchel and Klopp are not realistic prospects at this stage.
Löw’s last game before stepping down as Germany coach was the 2-0 defeat to Southgate’s England at Wembley in the Euro 2020 round of 16. The former Stuttgart and Fenerbahce coach has not worked since.
England Under-21 head coach Lee Carsley is reportedly in pole position to succeed Gareth Southgate as caretaker manager.
The former Everton man is likely to lead the Three Lions into their next international match against the Republic of Ireland in less than eight weeks, according to The Sun.
The FA is expected to mirror the 2016 appointment of Southgate, who was promoted from Under-21 manager to England boss, initially also on an interim basis.
