McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo has had a miserable start to the 2022 F1 season, and legendary commentator Martin Brundle believes the affable Aussie is aiming to be on the team in 2023, despite being under contract.

Eyebrows rose when McLaren bosses said Ricciardo had failed to meet “his or our expectations” after another disappointing result, this time at the Monaco GP.

That will certainly be difficult for Ricciardo, who cannot blame the car for all his problems.
