He claimed that when he worked at the chain there were ’33 grams of sugar per pump’ of swirl, which he said added up quickly.
In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 130,000 times, Ryan spoke directly to the camera while drinking a Dunkin’ iced coffee from inside his car.
She began: ‘If I have to be burdened with this information, then you have to know it too.
“I’ve seen an increasing number of people drinking a Dunkin’ iced coffee, and I see all these recipes, and I love it because I’m a Dunkin’ fan.
‘But how As a former employee, I feel it is my right and duty to tell you that all of your swirls have 33 grams of sugar per pump.
“The standard is two pumps for small, three pumps for medium and four pumps for large.”
Going deeper, Ryan said: ‘If you order an iced coffee with a medium caramel size (not including milk or any extra sugar they put in it), you’ll automatically get 100 grams of sugar (technically 99).
‘I came across this information because one summer they were doing their 99-cent happy hours, where you can get an iced coffee for 99 cents from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
‘I got one every day. I tell you this every day and I was still working at Dunkin’ at the time.
In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 130,000 times, Ryan speaks directly to the camera while drinking a Dunkin’ iced coffee from inside his car.
“At the end of that summer, I gained 10 pounds and thought, ‘Wow, what happened here?’ “I haven’t done anything different except drink coffee.”
“The next time I went to work, I turned over the nutrition label and saw with my own eyes that one pump contained 33 grams of sugar.”
Ryan added: “According to their website, it doesn’t contain as much sugar, so maybe the recipe has changed.”
“But as far as I know, there are 33 grams of sugar in each pump of the swirls.”
The former Dunkin’ employee concluded: “IIf the reason you don’t like Dunkin’ iced coffee is because it’s too sweet, that’s exactly why: there’s so much sugar in their coffee.
‘Just order a pump of the swirl, or they have other flavors like other cafes do, which have much less sugar.
“So do with that information what you will and enjoy your coffee.”
