Criminal defense lawyer who became a drug dealer who was arrested during a wild bikini ravage party is imprisoned for smuggling ice, MDMA and heroin

A former criminal lawyer has been sentenced to eight and a half years behind bars for drug trafficking and arms crimes.
Briana Christine Ioannides, 30, a former lawyer in front of the Gatenby law firm in Southport, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to 21 charges at the Brisbane Supreme Court.
Ioannides admitted to the sale and possession of ice, heroin, MDMA, GHB and steroids, among other violations, the courier post reported.
Judge Debra Mullins handed her the judgment together with the conditional release from February 2021.

Ioannides was first arrested in November 2015 with her boyfriend after police raided her home on the Gold Coast and seized money and drugs
During the hearing, the judge punished Ioannides about her downward path from successful professional to convicted drug dealer.
& # 39; You are an example of what happens to a young person with a promising career who becomes addicted to drugs. You actually let your life get out of hand, & she said.
Ioannides was first arrested in November 2015 after police invaded her Gold Coast home and confiscated money, a loaded saw-off shotgun and a gun, steroids and ice, cannabis, ecstasy and liquid & GBH. & # 39 ;
Ioannides was only arrested a few weeks later after the police found more drugs and paraphernalia at her home.
In May 2016 she was partying in a group of bikini-clad women in a luxury apartment with alleged bikie and founder of sports supplements Mass Nutrition Luke McNally.
In 2016, the police found steroids, cannabis, and drug items at the Ioannides home
Ioannides was charged with three counts that possessed dangerous drugs and one counts each of producing dangerous drugs (steroids), possessing utensils or pipes and possessing everything used to commit a crime after a robbery in 2016
Both Ioannides and McNally were arrested after the police reportedly found crystal meth, ecstasy tablets, and evidence from a drug lab when they stormed the apartment.
The two were both given bail and she was instructed to go to the rehab clinic.
McNally was later sentenced to six months, suspended for 18 months, and fined $ 500 for good behavior for drug charges.
Ioannides was later caught violating her bail conditions by staying outside of her curfew and not reporting to the police.
In 2017, Ioannides and an accessory were caught selling 442 g of meth and 53 liters of GHB.
Before her conviction, she was thrown in jail after she was caught driving high on the ice while on bail in December.

Crown prosecutor Susan Hedge previously told the Supreme Court that the woman had committed 23 offenses including, drive high on the ice and cannot drive to the police while allegedly driving in a suspended line.
She was in custody until her next appearance.
Ioannides has been in prison for eight months so far.
