Former University of South Florida college football star Teigan Martin died in a horrific car accident.
According to authorities, via TMZ, the 20-year-old was involved in an incident around 5 a.m. Monday. Police are alleged to have found a BMW that had skidded into a ditch.
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Teigan Martin,” USF Football said in a statement. “We extend our thoughts and prayers to Teigan’s family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him.”
Martin spent the 2022 season with Liberty before moving to South Florida for the 2023 season.
Martin was no longer involved in Bulls football, but was attending college classes, according to the Tampa Bay Weather.
