Former Burton Albion footballer Kelvin Maynard was shot dead in Amsterdam by two men on a motorcycle, police said.
The 32-year-old defender was shot in his car after being chased by armed men on motorcycles in the Langbroekdreef last night.

Maynard joined Burton in November 2014 after the appointment of Dutchman Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as manager.
