A prominent news anchor suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction on air Thursday night.

Channel Nine reporter Neil Breen was presenting a story on A Current Affair but seemed to forget one very important thing.

He appeared to leave his trousers unbuttoned before pursuing Valentino Kovacic and asking him about ensuring control of dementia patient Joe Lagan’s affairs.

Breen had forgotten to zip up his black pants while questioning Kovacic outside a gas station.

The presenter appeared not to notice the wardrobe malfunction while questioning Kovacic.

This is not the first time someone at ACA has suffered an embarrassing mistake.

Earlier this year, host Ally Langdon wished viewers a “great weekend” despite it being midweek.

‘And that is our program. I’m Ally Langdon. “Thank you for your company, have a great weekend,” he said before correcting the word to “afternoon.”

The presenter then burst out laughing and put her hands to her head as the cameras panned.

He also suffered an unfortunate on-air slip-up when he accidentally called a football team the wrong name while hosting the Today show in 2022.

While reporting on the previous day’s NFL clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, he mistakenly called the 49ers the ’69ers.’

A sixty-nine is a sexual position in which two people perform oral sex on each other, usually with the woman on top of the man, forming a shape similar to the number 69.

“I guess we’ll get out of here in the morning and we’ll all go home and raise our kids,” he began.

“It seems like they didn’t do any of those things yesterday,” he added, referring to Today host Karl Stefanovic and news anchor Alex Cullen.

“They were watching a football game in the United States: the Rams (against) the San Francisco 69ers.”

Their co-hosts were momentarily speechless as several crew members could be heard laughing and gasping in the background.

Wow! 49ers!’ Alex said, correcting her, prompting Karl to joke that Allison’s suggestion “sounds a lot more interesting” than watching a football game.
