Two men have been charged after the alleged kidnapping, torture and assault at gunpoint of a woman.
The dramatic incident unfolded after police were called to a home in Forest Lake, south of Brisbane, about 2.15pm on Friday following reports of a serious assault.
A 43-year-old Doolandella woman was found at the property with multiple non-life-threatening injuries.
She was taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Within hours, police arrested four men at a property in Stafford Heights.
Two men, identified as Erick Barry Rock and Patriss Tawor after both matters were mentioned in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday, have been charged with multiple offenses including kidnapping, extortion, torture, assault occasioning bodily harm by hand armed and armed robbery.
The other two men were released without charges being filed.

Police will allege a group of men assaulted the woman at a property on Cassowary Street in Doolandella before forcing her into a car and driving her to Forest Lake.
It is understood the men were wearing black balaclavas to cover their faces.
A Forest Lake resident told the Courier Mail he heard a woman’s “bloodcurdling screams” before multiple shots were fired.
“I just heard bang, bang, bang… three or four gunshots,” the neighbor said.

Neighbor Paul Spence also said he saw a group of four men arrive at the house in a white Audi before walking up to the front door of the property.
He claims he saw a man with a woman, his hand around her neck as he led her into the house.
They are currently assisting police with investigations.
At each of the properties, three separate crime scenes have been declared and one vehicle has been seized for forensic examination.
