Meeting Magic Johnson and The Kid LAROI, surfing on California’s famous beaches and taking part in the best sporting contests America has to offer – NRL stars have taken to social media to reveal how they’ve spent preparing for their long-awaited show in the United States.
Four football teams are in the United States for the first round of the 2024 season: Manly will take on South Sydney and the Roosters will take on last year’s grand finalists, the Broncos.
Clubs have been working with security teams to ensure they remain in a safe environment during their stay in Sin City, with teams based at the Resorts World hotel.
But players have been given the freedom to enjoy the sights in the United States.
The Broncos stars took to the basketball court to watch the Los Angeles Lakers clash against the San Antonio Spurs and were able to meet and greet NBA legend Magic Johnson.

Sydney Roosters star Joseph Suaalii also went to an NBA game with Brandon Smith.
Payne Haas, Kotoni Staggs, Reece Walsh, Patrick Carrigan and Adam Reynolds took the court before watching LeBron James & Co from two VIP suites.
‘I’m still pinching myself. “This is nonsense,” Carrigan said via News Corp.
“We’re just a group of mates who play together and get to experience the NBA on the big stage. You don’t see guys that big in Australia.
“Watching the Lakers and the big seven-footers is crazy.”
Broncos captain Reynolds presented Johnson with a Broncos jersey, an incredible experience for the quintet.
Elsewhere, a music superstar was also left dazzled when he came face to face with his rugby league heroes.
Kid Laroi, who has approximately 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify, was impressed when he met Jai Arrow and Cody Walker of the Rabbitohs.
Laroi, whose real name is Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, is a Bunnies tragic, with Arrow and Walker traveling three hours from their base in San Diego to meet him and give him a shirt.

The manly stars have been enjoying their free time at their Las Vegas hotel.
All four clubs stay at the same resort during their stay in Sin City.
The musician grew up on a council estate in Sydney’s south and worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, but will not be able to attend the game against Manly due to tour commitments.
“I grew up in Waterloo and the Rabbitohs are in my blood,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“I love what the team represents and I’m excited that people in the United States will have the opportunity to see them play live in Las Vegas next weekend,” he explained.
Bunnies star Latrell Mitchell was not present at the meeting with Laroi, but the defender has been enjoying some downtime in the United States. He posted a video of his teammate Tom Burgess taking a dip in the ocean before taking a relaxing walk on the beach.
The Manly stars have been sunbathing by their hotel pool and the team went for a dip over the weekend. Daly Cherry-Evans was present along with new recruit Luke Brooks.
