Footy star Jarrod Wallace and his wife from the TV presenter started about the torturous waiting before their daughter was safely delivered six weeks early.
Wallace and his wife, Channel 7 presenter Courtney Thorpe, welcomed baby Kennedy Grace Wallace on Wednesday morning.
Their daughter had to be delivered prematurely due to complications during pregnancy.
Doctors were concerned about the health of the baby because there were signs of pre-eclampsia and little amniotic fluid.

& # 39; The last two days have been very stressful and difficult to deal with. The fear of the unknown and being unable to do anything was torture, & Wallace told The courier post.
During birth, doctors discovered that no amniotic fluid – which serves as a pillow for the fetus – had remained around the baby.
& # 39; We were told that if we had left it for another day, both Bub and Court could have run into major problems and the placenta could have been abrupt and that is when things are going very badly. & # 39;
The former Miss World Australia had a difficult pregnancy from the start.
Prior to birth, she revealed that she & # 39; unbearable pain & # 39; had said it was due to endometriosis scars.
She also said she felt a lot of stress during her pregnancy because she found out she was not immune to Rubella, despite being vaccinated.
Thorpe has also been diagnosed with CMV disease – a viral infection that can cause health problems for the baby.

When their baby finally arrived, the whole room burst out with cheers, Wallace said.
Both Wallace and Thorpe shed tears when they first heard Kennedy crying.
Kennedy only weighed 2.26 kg and matt 44.5 cm.
& # 39; We did not expect to be able to hold her. She felt so little. She curled up in my chest like a small koala, & Wallace said.
Kennedy is the first child of Thorpe and the third of Wallace. He has two daughters, Lara, 6 and Peyton, 4, from a previous relationship.
