The NRL has cleared Titans star AJ Brimson of any possible breach of the code of conduct after finding no evidence to suggest he had bet on rugby league matches following a social media post showing a large victory in the Melbourne Cup, as well as other bets. in NRL games.
Brimson insisted from the start the bets came from his mother’s betting account after posting a screenshot of a $10,100 win thanks to a big bet on tough Knight’s Choice to win the Melbourne Cup.

The soccer star insisted from the beginning that the bets in question came from his mother’s betting account.
The photo also showed a scribbled bet on a rugby league match which led to Brimson being referred to the integrity unit given that players cannot bet on any rugby league match whether their team is involved or not.
Brimson’s management explained the situation immediately, revealing that the bet was made because Brimson’s mother is dating someone whose last name is Knight.
But the matter is now resolved: the club issued a statement on Thursday morning.
“The Titans can confirm that, following all relevant inquiries relating to a social media post on AJ Brimson’s Instagram account, the NRL has found no evidence to indicate that Brimson breached the playing provisions of the Code of Conduct. of the NRL,” the statement reads.
“No further comment will be made on the matter.”
