Footballer Kevin De Bruyne goes shirtless as he soaks up the sun during a day at the beach with his family in Ibiza… after Belgium’s loss at Euro 2020

His team crashed out of the Euro 2020 tournament earlier this month after losing 2-1 to eventual winner Italy.

But Kevin De Bruyne brushed off defeat as he enjoyed a shirtless day at the beach on Friday on a family holiday to Ibiza.

The Belgian footballer, 30, appeared in good spirits loving his young family while relaxing on the beach of Es Cavallet in the Balearic Islands.

Kevin had previously been gearing up for a great day out when he was seen wearing a rubber ring and beach toys as he and his loved ones headed to the beach.

The Manchester City star looked chilled out in a crisp white t-shirt, dark green shorts and black flip flops, while completing his look with trendy sunglasses.

Kevin married his partner Michele Lacroix in 2017, after dating since 2014.

The Belgium international proposed to Lacroix under the Eiffel Tower during a romantic trip to Paris in 2016, after welcoming their son Mason earlier that year.

The couple also shares son Rome and daughter Suri.

Last month Kevin admitted he felt a ‘responsibility’ to play for Belgium despite suffering an ankle injury in the previous round when his side tumbled out of Euro 2020.

De Bruyne played the full 90 minutes as Belgium were knocked out 2-1 by Italy in a quarter-final, where the Manchester City star surprised many by being named in the starting XI.

The midfielder suffered an ankle injury that left him out early in the last-16 win over Portugal, but claims Belgium’s medical staff worked wonders to get him fit enough to play against the Azzurri.

“It’s been four or five weird weeks for me personally,” he said UEFA after the match.

‘But I especially want to thank the medical staff. It was a miracle that I played today as there was definitely damage to my ankle. A tear in my tires.

“But I felt responsible to play for my country today. Too bad I couldn’t do more.’

Italy won the tournament after a thrilling penalty shootout against England in the final.
