Triple J presenter Dee Salmin has issued a classy social media response to a hurtful troll who criticized her relationship with AFL star Darcy Moore.

The Sunday Hook Up presenter shared a photo on Instagram of her and Darcy, 28, attending the Brownlow Medal ceremony in Melbourne on Wednesday, alongside a public comment she had received from the troll.

“Darcy has money, fame and elite football skills, but she switched her gonads to a feminist witch,” the troll wrote.

Dee played a cover of the Eagles’ 1972 classic, Witchy Woman, in her post and captioned it with some fancy words.

“Immortalizing the greatest compliment I have ever received,” he wrote.

Many of Dee’s sports friends quickly took to the comments section to congratulate her on her brave post.

‘Alpha movement,’ wrote Bulldogs player Cody Weightman, and AFLW star Georgie Parker added: ‘I DREAM of being called a feminist witch. What a queen!’

In July, Darcy and Dee’s living arrangements became the talk of the AFL, with fans labeling the Collingwood captain “woke” and blaming their unorthodox relationship for a slump in form.

Dee raised eyebrows when she revealed on a podcast why they don’t live together.

Many fans said Salmin’s lengthy explanation of why they live apart, complete with feminist buzzwords and therapeutic language, made them roll their eyes.

“I don’t live with my partner at the moment. We have very different, independent and busy lives,” Salmin said.

‘We can have a lot of what we had when we were still single in our relationship.

‘But I wonder how much you can maintain that when you end up living together. “A lot of this is heterodynamic learned behaviors that you could fall into.”

The Sunday Hook Up presenter shared a photo on Instagram of her and Darcy, 28, attending the Brownlow Medal ceremony in Melbourne last month, alongside a public comment she had received from the troll.

His quote about “heterodynamic learned behaviors” caused a storm on social media.

Collingwood loyalists had mixed reactions, with some even linking Salmin’s comments to Moore’s performance issues; others simply found Salmin’s interview confusing due to his use of progressive terminology.

Moore and Salmin first sparked rumors that they were dating when they were photographed holding hands last August at the opening night of Moulin Rouge in Melbourne in October 2023.

They later confirmed their romance by hitting the red carpet together at several exclusive A-List events.
