Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the attack on former New York Governor David Paterson and his stepson Anthony Sliwa.
The couple turned themselves in at a New York City police station on Saturday night along with their parents.

Sliwa suffered minor injuries after being assaulted by four men and a woman, police said Saturday.
The former Democratic governor and Sliwa were treated at a nearby hospital for minor facial injuries and released early Saturday, the New York Police Department said.
Paterson, who is legally blind, also suffered minor injuries to his body.
In a statement, police called the attack a “gang assault” and sought the public’s help for more information.
Paterson served as governor from 2008 to 2010, taking office after Governor Eliot Spitzer resigned following a prostitution scandal. Paterson was the state’s first black governor.
