Suspended Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler got into a heated confrontation in Florida

Suspended Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler got into a heated confrontation in Florida while his team was in New York, facing the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night and picking up a victory along the way.

Butler’s excitement in Miami is evident as he wants a trade out of town. His second suspension of the season is pending for what the team calls a “continued pattern of disregard for team rules, disobedient conduct and conduct detrimental to the team.”

Instead of being with his team for the road victory at the Barclays Center, he got into a fight during a reverse padel tournament in Miami.

It is unclear who Butler is arguing with, nor is it clear what caused the disagreement.

Butler is seen in a green jacket being stopped by someone from approaching another person.

Even while being restrained, Butler can be seen talking to those around him after the confrontation has died down.

The tournament in Miami will see baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter and comedian Andrew Schulz captain padel teams to win money as part of a $1.7 million prize pool.

Butler was previously suspended for seven games for expressing his desire to leave the team during a post-match press conference.

The NBA trade deadline is February 6 and no teams will come to terms for Butler during his exile with Miami.

Butler has already lost more than $3 million in salary, while he could return to the team on Monday against Orlando.

Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra could decide not to play Butler, or he could be suspended for the third time this season for more conduct detrimental to the team.

It’s more likely than not that Butler played his last game for the Heat because of his actions. Add this confrontation to the list of incidents the 35-year-old has been a part of in recent weeks.
