Shocking footage captured the moment more than a dozen men were involved in a massive brawl at an exclusive rooftop bar packed with customers.
Wild scenes erupted inside the Pool Club in Sydney’s Merivale Ivy Precinct on George Street on Sunday night.
Surprised bystanders filmed the melee and shared the scenes on Instagram.
In one video, several men are seen exchanging blows before the fight escalates and up to a dozen revelers join in meters from the edge of the pool.
A bystander could be heard shouting “we’re starting the fight” as things began to heat up.
Surprised women were seen watching as several tried to push away some of the fighting men.
Viewers shared footage of a huge brawl at Sydney’s Ivy Pool Club on Sunday night.
Another video showed a group of men repeatedly stomping on a man in a black T-shirt.
In another online video clip of the same incident titled “Seriously, what a mess,” a group of men are seen pushing, stomping and kicking a man who was lying in the club’s orange seating area.
The victim managed to stand up and flee.
Another video showed him trying to escape towards the venue’s famous swimming pool in the middle of the bar before being punched in the face, causing him to fall backwards into the water.
Security guards eventually stepped in to intervene and helped the man to his feet before another person kicked him in the face again, leaving him. bleeding from his left eye. He was subsequently taken to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
Another video captured and posted online showed a separate fight between two women on sun loungers.
As two security guards carried the shocked man out of the venue, revelers involved in the fight resumed dancing in “post-fight bliss,” according to onlookers who shared images online.
It is not yet known what caused the incident.
New South Wales police responded to reports of a fight involving ‘several men’.
The young reveler escaped the stomping before being pushed into the pool and kicked in the face again.
The injured reveler was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with a concussion and is in a stable condition.
“A 23-year-old man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he is being treated for a concussion, a cut to his left eye and other injuries,” a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
“He is described as being in stable condition.”
An investigation has been launched as police work to identify those involved in the incident, which occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Ivy is owned by Baron Justin Hemmes as part of his Merivale empire.
The venue prides itself on being the city’s “quintessential party destination.”

A lavish party marks the official opening of Ivy’s Pool Club in 2008.
The incident took place during a Sunset Bros DJ set that ran from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
